For Spanish speakers. What do you think of this true story?
I enjoy writing short stories about my childhood in North Alabama. I write all of my short stories in Spanish and I would like to know what you think. This is a true story. Thanks for reading it.
About me: I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I am studying accordion and traditional music from México. I am learning how to play Conjunto, Tejano, Tex-Mex and Norteño.
Have a nice day, John

Why Learn Spanish
That’s a cute story. Annie Oakley….crazy…lol
Poor snake, I actually didn’t know rattlesnakes were edible…lol
I did have a question you can put additional details to answer me, but this word “Érase”. Where does it come from? In my whole life I have never used or heard anyone use this word. At home, nor in my 4 years of AP Spanish, nor from my uncle who happens to be a Spanish teacher. What tense is it? Seems like its infinitive is ser, and as if the tense was an imperfect tense.
Oh and in music, stick to tejano. Gosh i miss that music so much. Los Palominos, David Lee, Grupo Mazz, Little Joe, The Voice a.k.a. Jay Perez. Its been forgotten but it should be brought back. I was raised with that music.
