The first thing you need to do is find out how much they do know. Start with greetings, colors, and numbers. If you know some songs or poems that teach these, great. With the fossils, I'd get the materials they'll be using in English and translate into Spanish. Basically, it will be teaching them vocabulary and pronunciation. Show them pictures or flashcards and teach them the words. With only 15 minutes, all you can be expected to do is give them some vocabulary.
