I like Latin. I enjoy Latin.

More people speak French – more people to talk with.

I’d go with Latin (what better way to impress people when you’re old than to talk in Latin, or translate on the spot the exorcist movie quotes.).

Why wouldnt they speak their native language better than a foreign one?
All universities around the world offer English classes for all levels, and other lessons.
Why dont you speak Italian and Spanish?

Don’t forget that Spanish is not the first language for many Spaniards, but that it is known by every person in Spain. This means that almost 38% of all Spaniards are bilingual, because they speak Catalan/Basque/Gaelician + Spanish.

Traditionally, French was the foreign language spoken by most people in Spain. Reason? Neighbors. Now english is taught in Schools, but I’ve noticed that Spaniards learn gramatic, not the way to use the language.

Oh wow that’s weird that you take short lessons of that many languages in 8th grade.

Trust me, don’t do Latin. You will regret it. The only real use for it is in the Roman Catholic Church. If you aren’t Catholic, do not take it. (Sure it is used in Science but those things can be learned without learning the entire language! and yes it “helps” you learn romance languages, but a romance language is more closely related to another romance language than to Latin. so basically, instead of learning Latin to “help” you learn a romance language, you could actually learn a romance language, and then if you wanted to learn another it would be easier)

I don’t see why you don’t take Spanish. If you aren’t good at Spanish, you aren’t going to be good at French. The grammatical structures are almost the same, and Spanish is more widespread.

So… I’d say Spanish or French. Because you say French or Latin, I must say French. That which you most desire is that which you are best at. Yet, I cannot ignore how long you have taken Spanish…

If you want to try something different, I would suggest French. But if you want to do something comfortable, go with Latin. It all depends on if you want to broaden your language knowledge.

Although Cedors is right, it’s also true Italy was used to be one of the western European nations with the lowest percentage of English speakers: 20 years ago it was 17%, compared to a peak of 66% in Denmark. Only Greece, at the time, had a lowest percentage.
The main point is learning English became mandatory since primary school just around half of the 90s; prior, it was done only starting from the sixth year (a choice between English and French, actually).

There’s lazy, then there’s LAAAAAZYYYYYY. Try not to be the latter (again).

in terms of the list you have, it does not really matter. in order to become licensed in chinese medicine (to legally practice using herbs and needles) you will have to complete a 4 year degree from an accredited college. most schools require this to be a BS, but some schools only require a BA or BS. once you complete this, choose a school that is accredited and national recognized in chinese medicine. this will be 4 more years of much more rigorous classes than the first 4 of undergrad. once your done, presto! you will be helping people daily for the rest of your life and will see why i made the comment about the previous post.
