1) my school is called hillingdon; it’s a school for girls and it’s quite big and modern.
2) there are about 150 students in each year group, and quite a lot of rooms, including a gym.
3) although there are some subjects i don’t like, generally i enjoy school.
4) i study spanish, french, history, latin and art.
5)my favourite subject is history because i find it so interesting, and it’s also quite easy in my opinion.
6) yes, we have to wear a uniform – a grey skirt and a white and blue shirt. i wish we didn’t have to wear a uniform because i don’t think it looks very nice.
7) my english teacher is called miss thomas and she is a very good teacher because she’s very helpful. a good teacher must be patient and good at explaining things.
9) school begins at half 8 and ends at half 3. there are six lessons in a day and i get lots of homework, because i have my exams in a few weeks.
10) yesterday i had double art which was really fun because i painted a picture.
11) i would like to become a lawyer because it’s well paid and i think i’d be good at it, although it would be a lot of hard work.
12) my mother is a secretary and my father is a security guard.
13) after my gcses i am going to continue with my education and take a levels at my school.
14) no but hopefully in the summer i’m going to get a part time job in a shop or a cafe
15) i worked in a nursery and i really didn’t like it, the children were too loud and i was bored.
