im a rising junior

Im part of a magnet school that offers an advanced curriculm and all ap and honors (all ap for juniors and seniors) im taking 6 APs next year

im president of community service club

i do 4 or 5 other clubs (chess, spirit, FBLA, health occupation leaders)

i dont do any school sports but i take tap lessons and im pretty good

i do have a solid gpa like a 3.8

#11 in my class of 400

On AP exams i got a 5 on gov’t (politics) and a 3 on biology

i did an internship/career exploration thing this summer

I took the SAT in the beginning of sophmore year and got a 1770 (how much better do you tihnk i will do in teh spring of junior year with 10th and 11th grade knowledge i didnt have and an SAT prep course and book?)

i ran for juniorr class officer (did not win — sad story of conspiracy)

i got a 169 on my PSAT (i did not qualify but im taking it again)

Im taking teh ACT in the winter

It seems really good but im really worried because i dont really have that many accomplishments (i get highest science grade as a freshman and a community service award) and my transcript has some inconsistencies :
i only took world history one, not two (were supposed tot ake both but i went into the magnet school which has a different history curriculum)
I dont have any continuing electives (i took journalism 1, not 2 or 3) but im going into spanish 4 this year
im wondering if i shoudl take AP psychology or microeconmics (im more interested in psychology but i already took the regular psychology class last year and it would look weird to have two psychology classes, wouldn’t it? even though one is AP tell me what to do!! my other alternative is comparative gov’t)
im taking pe 10 as a junior because i didnt have the space in 10th grade to take it

What should i be doing about my college road trip next year — im so lost on what to do our counselors dont really care about college, only on getting you through high school…

How much do colleges take your course selection into consideration? should my courses reflect my interests, or should they be really different to try and experience everything??
