asked:

When I was at school, I used to dread going to Spanish lessons. They always seemed to be so unnecessarily long winded and laborious. Getting home and trying to learn things from a text book was an arduous affair to say the least. Thankfully times have move on and it’s now possible to learn the Spanish language from the comfort of your own home and at times that are convenient. In this Synergy Spanish review I am going to cover what this program covers and why it’s just a little different from others you may have already seen.

What Is Synergy Spanish?

Put simply, it’s a course designed for people that haven’t got months or years to spend trying to learn the language. It’s aimed at students that want to pick things up quickly and it keeps things simple by teaching you the core basics of Spanish using a grand total of 138 words. This approach was refreshing to me as it gave me a manageable amount of information to learn and the remarkable thing about it is that as unlikely as it may sound, 138 words is actually all you need to lay down a solid foundation and master the basics of this vocabulary. It’s for people that want to speak Spanish in the real world, not for people that just want to know the theory, which makes it ideal for work and also travel.

Learn Spanish Imperfect

asked:

Learning the Spanish Language is Easier than You Think

If you can read and understand this simple article, then you already know some basic Spanish, thanks to the power of cognates. By taking advantage of a number of tricks, just like the one mentioned above, you will speed up the process of learning the Spanish language by leaps and bounds.

First, let’s look at how cognates can help you learn Spanish. Cognates are words and phrases that are similar and have the same meanings in different languages. For example, take the first sentence of this article again. Look for the words that are similar to these Spanish words: “simple, artículo, básico.” See? You already speak some of the language! To find some lists of cognates, check out a Spanish site on the Internet or visit your local bookstore’s reference section.

Learn Spanish Language

asked:

There are many different ways you can go about learning Spanish, for any reason you’re interested in learning the language. There are also ways to learn Spanish, and believe me when I tell you that its worth the money and time you invest in it cause the result at the end is always overwhelming.

May who desire to improve their Spanish before also have a relatively high budget in this area should consult the many Spanish immersion programs available today. These programs are conducted entirely in Spanish, and usually include courses in small groups or individually, depending on the course. The quickest way for most of their language skills improve. These programs vary greatly in cost, but usually include courses and language accommodation. Living in a Spanish-speaking countries may also be a good way to learn the language, but without the lessons available in a structured immersion program, you can take a little longer to learn the language, especially when this is grammar.

Be that as it may those who want to stay closer to home and having to learn to take a more expensive private lessons or group lessons of work or school, which offers them. This is also a good way to learn Spanish. You do not need to book a time to plan lessons, and can be a bit ‘expensive. More importantly the feedback from tutors and the homework given can give a lot of motivation and incentive to do your job so you do not look bad in front of other students.

However, there are a variety of self-learning courses available

for those on a string budget but want to learn Spanish. You can buy them online or in most bookstores. The best of these courses include audio and video components so you can see how words are written and hear their pronunciation. Some computer programs can even help you with your pronunciation. You repeat words into a microphone and the computer compares them with the correct pronunciation and tells you how close you are to perfect pronunciation. Many computer programs also have games that you can use to help you expand your vocabulary while having fun.

The author of the spanish lessons that am involved in is an avid student of Spanish himself who has recently moved to Spain. Previously he was director of a company operating successfully and has since moved to a new challenge. His interests include learning Spanish, in writing, get a grip on the entire mixture is the Internet and your family. He enjoys playing golf, now that your body will not let you play football or rugby, no more! He also likes the different cultures, especially Spanish culture, especially because he loves wine and festivals.

Free Learn Spanish

asked:

If you are considering learning a new language, consider Spanish. Here are 6 excellent reasons you should consider Spanish as your second language.

1. The Spanish speaking population is large and growing, especially in the US.

Spanish is spoken by almost 400 million people worldwide making it the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world. The last census shows that it is the primary language for 34 million people in the US. And half of the Western Hemisphere speaks Spanish. This includes South America (except Brazil which speaks Portuguese), Central America, Mexico, and pockets in the United States, especially California, Florida, Texas, and New York. Spanish is the second most popular language after English by a long shot. States like California requires bilingual legislated notices and official documents. In Puerto Rico, a US Commonwealth, Spanish is the official and most commonly used language.

2. Spanish is one of the easiest foreign languages to learn.

Much of its vocabulary is similar to English and there are thousands of cognates. Cognates are words that are basically the same in two languages, such as “abrupt” in English is “abrupto” in Spanish. It is the number one foreign language being taught to children in elementary and high school. Besides, there are many easy ways to learn beginner’s Spanish. You can take Spanish courses at your community college. Or you can check out one of the many learn Spanish sites were you can purchase Spanish CDs or on line Spanish lessons.

3. Spanish is almost completely phonetic.

Once you learn a few pronunciation rules, you will be able to pronounce any Spanish word correctly. The basic grammar rules are pretty straightforward. You can learn to have a Spanish conversation after only a few lessons.

4. The Spanish language can help you learn additional languages.

Once you learn Spanish, you’ll have a head start in learning the other Latin-based languages such as French or Italian, and can even help you learn Russian and German.

5. Business opportunities abound for those who are fluent in both Spanish and English.

The ability to speak both Spanish and English will continue to become more and more valuable for people who live in the U.S. with each passing year as our Spanish speaking population grows. If you work in a service industry such as health care or education, you’ll find your career options expand by knowing Spanish. If you’re in any occupation that involves international trade, communications, or tourism, you’ll similarly find opportunities to use Spanish for business.

Economic globalization has been the big push behind the increasing importance of being able to communicate with those from other countries. For obvious reasons, the second language US citizens choose to learn is Spanish.

6. Learn Spanish for cultural expansion.

Learning Spanish will give you the opportunity to learn how other people think and see the world. Spanish also offers a wealth of literature, both modern and traditional.

You just read some excellent reasons to consider learning to speak Spanish. However, there are as many good reasons as there are individuals. What is your main interest in learning Spanish?

Whatever your reason is, know that you are in good company. There are currently 6 million people in the US taking Spanish courses right now. So what are you waiting for? Start learning Spanish today!

Learn Spanish On The Internet

asked:

The number of English speakers who want to learn Spanish is growing. For many Americans, it is because they find that Spanish is rapidly becoming accepted as the second language all over the country. The’ Latin invasion’ is no more confined to areas around Miami and LA. For this reason, interest in learning Spanish is growing in the United States especially for children, as most adults feel that they have passed the age where they can acquire a new language. For most of us, cost or time is the issue. This shouldn’t be the case. Begin any attempt to learn a new language with the idea that it is going to take time (probably years). You are not going to be speaking Spanish fluently in a month or two (although some language learning programs make that claim). It is better to spend just half an hour a day than spending 3 hours a day for a few days and then taking few days off. Not only will you get burned out very quickly but it is also not the most efficient way of going about it.

Today, just about anything you want to learn is available somewhere on the internet for little or no money. Although most sites are trying to sell you a product, many offer some basic Spanish lessons for free to get you interested with the hope that you will check out their product. It’s important to read reviews of any Spanish language learning software or Book/CD packages a company is selling. The site itself will always claim that they have the perfect product for you and that they can get you speaking Spanish in no time. It is always better to check reviews on sites like Amazon.com to see what people who have bought the product think of it.

The best way is to begin with sources that don’t cost a lot of money. Check out a few books (try to get something with CDs or tapes) from your local library, just to get a feel for what to expect. You may get lucky and find a couple of really good language learning packs there. After you have a good feel for what exactly you would like to learn, go online and do a search on language courses. You will literally get thousands of results (if not hundreds of thousands). Most adults want a learning methodology that is more practical, i.e. they want to learn practical spoken Spanish. So rather than just searching for keywords like ‘spanish’, ‘online’, ‘free lessons’, you should use keywords like ‘practical Spanish’ or ‘learn practical Spanish online’ in order to avoid sites that just focus on grammar or the technical parts of the language. Some sites like the grammar section at Wikipedia, give you a good technical explanation of grammar but not a lot of examples on practical usage. You want to find sites that will acquaint you with the way the language is actually spoken, not just the grammar rules.

To get started, try About.com for some free Spanish lessons. They have plenty of material for beginners as well as some great articles about how to get started. Plenty of Spanish books are available to be downloaded for free from sites like Ebookee.com. There are some restrictions but you could get quite a few good books along with the audio portion for free. Sites like http://learnpracticalspanishonline.com/ offer a full course for beginners and plenty of intermediate material for free. The site doesn’t have a lot of graphics and animation but the content is geared more toward a practical approach that will help you with conversational Spanish.

Learn Spanish Vocabulary

asked:

Our world centers around language and communication when you stop and think about it nothing can be or is, done without communication in one form or another. Throught the centuries, man has invented new ways for humans to communicate with other humans and now it is even possible to speak to other species.

This is possible with the use of sign language amazing is it not? We humans first began communicating with people from other countries over half way around the world threw devices. One of these first devices was the short wave radio, this allowed voice to be, carried over sound wave and travel threw the air. The signals were, received by the use of a receiver.

The telephone was another such device that carried voice by the use of underground wires buried. Even before this was, the telegraph that tapped out a form of language called mores code. Whither the language is sign language, mores code, or spoken words in other languages humans must communicate with each other on a daily basis. People learn quickly how to speak other languages for one reason or another.

Learn Spanish On Line

asked:

So you want to learn advanced Spanish which puts you into either two categories. The first being someone who doesn’t currently speak Spanish but needs to speak advanced Spanish for a new career or job offer. The second being that you currently speak conversational Spanish but want to advance to the next level. You want to do this so you can conduct business or find a job in a Spanish speaking country. Hopefully you will find the following advice useful.

First of all let’s deal with the person that already speaks conversational Spanish. The reality here is you have already done the hard part and now its primarily getting to grips with business Spanish and some pretty basic advanced stuff. Obviously I am assuming that you have learned Spanish through education i.e. through School lessons or some online course. If however you are self taught after living in a country for six months through interaction with people then you’re probably going to have to start from scratch to learn the basic structure of the language.

Learn Spanish Grammar

asked:

I wonder if you were aware that employing Spanish conversation in your learn Spanish lessons is the optimal strategy. Or else the only methodology that will get the result you want? The counterpoint is that it is not feasible to be ready enough to conduct a Spanish conversation if you do not conquer the Spanish language first! “It simply does not make sense,” I can hear you say! “It’s not possible to realistically hope to be able to any type of effective conversation in the language if I do not initially master how to speak the Spanish language!”

But if you logically approach it, you will see that I am right. I don’t argue the point, lots of students will agree on the point you make, however by the same token lots of people also fail at grasping Spanish! I think some elaboration is called for! A majority of language-learners with whom I have had this debate were first dubious! But the true point is that to conquer any language including Spanish you must use the language in your learn Spanish lessons.

At the end of it all, your end game is to have Spanish conversation!

That makes a compelling case for getting exposure to Spanish conversation from the beginning. Although, there are better arguments as well! Spanish sentence flow and the flow of real Spanish are two very ignored aspects of learning Spanish in learn Spanish lessons. Many language-learners focus on enlarging their vocabulary and studying up on verb and conjugation rules.

Learn Spanish Conjugation
